National Sports Week
National Sports Week
National Sports Week is a yearly event which takes place in June. At school we normally celebrate this with Sports Day, Inter house events and other sporting themed activities in class.
This year, the Youth Sport Trust has teamed up with Sky Sports to run a national campaign which will aim to unite the country - families, schools, sport and businesses - in a celebration of the power of sport to bring people together, even during isolation.
At Bishop Lonsdale we are going to focus on a different sport every day and try and do as much physical activity as possible. Have a look at the ideas and links below.
Remember to take photographs and send them to homelearning@bishoplonsdale.derby.sch.uk or upload them to Twitter using the hashtag #StayHomeStayActive. Tag @DCCTSuperSchool
It's not too late to follow us on Twitter, search for us @bishoplonsdale1
