Relationships & Health Education Policy - draft policy for consultation

To help you understand how the school will teach Relationships and Health Education from September 2020, a draft Relationships and Health Education Policy has been written in conjunction with other schools in Derby City. It states how we will put into practice the government guidance that becomes statutory in September 2020.

This policy is being shared with parents, the governing body and the wider community and can be viewed and downloaded from our policies page in Parent Information.

Any comments you wish to make about the content of the policy can be directed to the governing body and/or the headteacher by Friday 6th March. These comments will be considered prior to ratifying the policy at a full governing body meeting.

The next phase of the process will be to determine the scheme of work and resources that will be used to ensure our school completes its statutory duty. The group of schools are now working on these and will provide opportunities for parents to view these materials during the summer term.
